These terms are a draft pending legal review and are not yet in force. The final text will be published here and linked from every signup and checkout before general availability.

Summary of what the terms will cover

• The service: managed database instances as described in these docs, with the plan features and limits in the reference and the availability commitments in the SLA.
• Your data stays yours. We never use customer data for anything but running your instances; metering sees bytes and sizes only (Data confidentiality).
• Acceptable use: no illegal content, no abuse of free-tier capacity (mining, proxies), no attacks on other tenants.
• Billing: monthly base price in advance, usage in arrears, published rates; spending caps; what happens on non-payment (notices, then suspension, with data retained per plan).
• Retention and deletion: the plan’s retention window after delete, full erasure on request.
• Sub-processors, changes to the terms with 30 days’ notice, governing law and dispute resolution.
